Flashcards are one of the most common tools used in teaching. They are pretty easy to use and versatile.
Yet,they are often underutilized.
Flashcards are used to improve vocabulary, memory drills and more. With kids REPETITION IS THE KEY.
What are the fun methods with which we can use flashcards?
- Set up a sensory bin with Rava (Sooji) / Rice, put the flashcards inside and ask them to take a particular card.
- If you've Ice-cream sticks with you, write the letter and ask your child to pickup the matching Flashcard.
- Ask your child to use the Flashcard to make sentences.(Improves their vocabulary)
- Match the Flashcard with real object.(Ex. Vegetables Carrot-bring the real carrot)
